Warriors Semi-Finals Weekend Split
The Stratford Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantam Warriors kicked off their Bristol Division Semi Final series against Kitchener this past weekend, splitting a pair of games in the six point playdown series, with a 3-1 win and a 1-0 loss to the Rangers.

Saturday in Stratford, goals by Connor Otto, Tyson Hall and Dylan Hall gave the Warriors more than they needed in the series opener, as they downed Kitchener 3-1. Some hard forechecking and corner work paid off for Hayden Arms, as he picked up two assists for Stratford. Other helpers went to Luke Marcy, Kolton Debus and Tyson Hall.

The two teams returned to Kitchener Sunday, and although the visiting Warriors dominated the majority of the play, a 5 on 3 power play by the Rangers allowed for the games only goal, in a 1-0 Ranger win. A red hot Kitchener net minder continually frustrated Stratford, who had a multitude of glorious scoring opportunities thwarted by the Kitchener goaltender.

The two teams face off in game three of the series, Tuesday night at the Dufferin Arena in Stratford.
