John MacDonald Tournament
On Saturday October 18th the SCI Contractors Stratford Warriors Minor Bantam MD Team took on a shorten benched Niagara on the Lake Wolves for their third game of the John MacDonald Memorial Tournament in St Catherines.
The Warriors out shot Niagara 19 to 15 but came up against a hot goalie and Stratford lacked the intensity they have shown in the rest of the tournament. Stratford took the lead from a goal from Caelen Everleigh to end the first period but Niagara responded in the second and third with 3 unanswered goals, the last being an empty netter. Jarod Fleming played well in net for the Warriors making some great saves but the Wolves capitalize on the Warriors inability to clear the puck. Even with this loss, the SCI Contractors Stratford Warriors Minor Bantam MD Team advanced to the semifinals where they will play the London Bandits on Sunday October 19th.
