Stratford Warriors vs. London Bandits
On Tuesday October 21st The SCI Contractors Stratford Warriors Minor Bantam MD Team was at home to face the London Bandits. This game was a rematch of their semi final 3-0 loss to the Bandits on the weekend at the John MacDonald Memorial Tournament in St. Catherines.
The Warriors played well on Tuesday - the goal tending was outstanding. Jared Fleming stood on his head saving 38 of the 39 shots . Stratford got the tie with a late third period goal from Marcus Nicholson who banged in the puck from in front of the net. The Warrior doubled their shots on net from the weekend game with 14.
The Warriors next game will have them travel to Sarnia to face the Sting next Sunday. Go Warriors!! - Richard W.
