Weekend Round-Up
The Stratford Holloway Automotive Minor Atoms lost a pair of very close games on the week-end. On Saturday the team played one of their best games this season, losing 3-1 to a very strong London White Team. Gabe Emms scored the lone goal with an assist going to Quinn Appel. Jesse Merkel was strong between the pipes, making some key saves.
On Sunday the team hosted the Brantford 99ers. It was a very tight game as both teams were equally matched. Quinn Appel opened the scoring with assists going to Nathan Gibb and Ryan Haines. Nathaniel Smith scored late in the game, assisted by Appel and Gibb. The final score was 3-2 Brantford.
