Unbeaten In Three
The Stratford Holloway Automotive Minor Atoms recently played a home and home with The St. Thomas Stars. Stratford hosted the  first game and the teams skated to a 4-4 tie. Ryan Haines led the offence with 2 goals and 1 assist. Quinn Appel had 1 goal and 1 assist, while Beckham McLeod added a single. Assists were earned by Andrew Leitch, Marek Carter, Colten Kuepfer and Nathaniel Smith.


Stratford then travelled to St. Thomas where they assured the win this time, downing the Stars 2-1. The game was scoreless going into the third, and St. Thomas was first to strike, going ahead 1-0. Stratford quickly replied on a goal from Quinn Appel, assisted by Ryan Haines and Colten Kuepfer. With a couple minutes left in the game, Nathaniel Smith got the go ahead goal, assisted by Nathan Gibb.

The team faced off against The Brantford 99ers on Sunday and showed a lot of character coming back from being down 4-1, to tie 6-6. Gabe Emms opened the scoring for Stratford, assisted by Haines and Appel. Haines notched the next two with Brett Knechtel assisting on both goals, and Appel assisting on one. Nathan Gibb tied the game 4-4 at the start of the third, while Smith put the team ahead 5-4, with an assist going to McLeod. Brantford quickly replied, tying the game 5-5. With under a minute to play, Haines completed his hat trick, assisted by Gibb.
The 99ers tied it up with 4 seconds left in the game.
