Hiller Realty Minor Peewee Warriors travelled to sarnia Saturday, losing a
tough game 3-2 to the Sting. Chadd Langlands scores first and adds an
assist to Cole Hislop's goal with Zach McCann and Isaac Deline also earning an assist.
The warriors had 2 tough goals called back late in the game - 1 on a Sting injury and the almost tying goal denied on the buzzer as it was was ruled after the buzzer. James Cormier-Hazen played well in net once again.
Sunday's match up against the Waterloo Wolves was a nail biting 4-4 tie. Cole Hislop scored 2 goals for the Warriors, including the tying goal with seconds left in the game, and had an assist. Both Hislop goals were assisted by Chadd Langlands. Cole Lewis went down on a 2 on 1 from a pass up from defenceman Porter Aitken, played the pass all the way and then schooled the tender putting it upstairs on the short side. Ethan Scrimgeour scored off a faceoff won by Hislop, picking the corner beautifully. Carter Chessell was solid in net recording another point for the Warriors.
