Busy week for Warriors
Written by Dave Graff.  The SMHA Scotiabank Major Peewee rep team played four games in the last seven days and after three one sided losses the Warriors were able to pull out a 2-2 tie in London on Sunday.

In that London game a controversial  short handed goal by the Mustang Purple team with under two minutes remaining sent the Warrior boys home disappointed but with a point none the less. Caleb Musselman opened the scoring for the visitors with an unassisted power play goal in the first period tying the game at a goal each. Just minutes later the line of Erik Smith, Sydnie Miller and Braydon Tinning did some excellent work down low with Smith eventually banging in the second Warrior goal.

Saturday at home the Warriors just couldn’t solve the Woodstock goalie despite several chances and that combined with some timely Navy Vet goals led to a 4-0 Woodstock win.

Last Wednesday in London the Mustang White team opened up a close game in the third period scoring five unanswered goals for an 8-1 victory. Josh Nixon scored for the Warriors with the lone assist going to Maverick Mulder.

Last Monday night after the Warriors played an excellent first period and took a 1-0 lead over Kitchener Blue, the home team roared back with four straight goals sending Stratford back home with a 4-1 defeat. Mulder scored on the power play for the Warriors with assists from Caleb Musselman and Tinning.
