Warriors tie Mustangs
Written by Dave Graff.  The SMHA Scotiabank Major Peewee Rep team hosted the London Mustang Purple team on Saturday and for the second straight game the Warriors scored the tying goal in the final minute with the goalie on the bench for the extra attacker, the game ending in a 3-3 tie.

Trailing 2-0 part way through the second period a gritty second effort by Erik Smith generated a neutral zone turn over and after Smith sent Carter Musselman in alone on the Mustang goalie, Musselman made no mistake going top shelf to cut the London lead to one.  The score remained 2-1 into period three when during a Warrior powerplay an Ethan Aarts shot deflected off Zach Carman and into the Mustang net to tie the game at 2-2. Maverick Mulder also assisted on the goal.  The Mustangs got the go ahead goal late in period three setting up the frantic finish.  With the home side sustaining pressure inside the Mustang zone and less that a minute to play Smith and Caleb Musselman worked the puck down low with the puck eventually finding its way back towards Mulder at the left point.  Mulder’s one timer found its way through traffic and into the visitors net giving the Warriors a well deserved point.
