Warriors Back On Track
After having their four game winning streak snapped by the London Jr. Mustangs in a 3-1 loss, the Stratford Canadian Tire Major Bantam Warriors got back on the winning track, with a 3-2 win over the Burlington Bulldogs Saturday night in Burlington.
Stratford trailed 2-0 after one period of play, but power play goals by Trent Zorgdrager and Caelen Eveleigh knotted things up at two, heading into the final frame. Early in the third, Blake Strickland tipped a Kolton Debus point shot in to put the Warriors in the lead, a lead they did not relinquish.
Strickland scored the lone Warrior goal in the loss to London, with Eveleigh and Kobe Robinson assisting.
