Warriors Advance
Joel DenOtter's game winning goal with 8:14 remaining sent the Stratford Canadian Tire Major Bantam Warriors into the Alliance "A" playoff finals, with a 3-2 win over the Kitchener Rangers Saturday afternoon at the Aud in Kitchener.
Josh Smith opened the scoring for Stratford with a short handed tally, thanks to the relentless forecheck of call up Cohen Lesouder, who picked up the assist. Ethan Scrimgeour scored the second goal for the Warriors, unassisted. Carter Lewis and Scrimgeour picked up assists on DenOtter's winning goal, as Stratford took the series 6 points to 2.
Stratford now goes on to face the St. Thomas Stars in the final.
