Dunny's Source For Sports Atom MD's
The Dunny's Minor Atom Warriors played the North London Nationals three times in six nights, ending Thursday night. The first meeting was Saturday, in Stratford. Both teams played well, resulting in a 1-1 tie.
Stratford's goal was scored by Thomas Sheldon on a wrist shot from the blue line. Goalie Matt Reed had a strong game in net. Game two was played Tuesday night in London and had Stratford coming up just short in a 4-3 loss. Goals were scored by Zack Richardson, Bruce Munroe, and Sheldon. Thursday, back in Stratford, the Warriors had a much better result winning 4-2. Goals were scored by Monroe, Drew Tessmer, Ethan Dam, and Hayden White-Roy. Assisting on goals were Sheldon, Jacob Boyer and Aiden Benton. Also adding an assist was Tessmer, giving him a two point night.The win puts Stratford above .500 in league play and places them in third place in the standings.
