2-0 Week-end
The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Major Atoms won both their games this past week-end. On Saturday they travelled to St. Thomas to face the Stars and the entire team contributed to a 10-0 win. Marek Carter, Quinn Appel, and Mark Pyzowski led the offense with two goals apiece. Also getting in on the action were Gabe Emms, Sam Pepper, Nathan Gibb and Isaac Nickel with one goal each. Earning assists were Emms with three, Jackson Grasby, Ryan Haines, Brett Knechtel, Nickel, and Carter.  The short-handed defensive unit of Nathaniel Smith, Colten Kuepfer, Carter, and Knechtel kept St. Thomas at bay. Cohen Gerber faced 21 shots and earned a well-deserved shut out in net.

On Sunday the team hosted a second place London Jr. Mustangs Purple.  The boys continued their momentum from Saturday and came out strong. After a scoreless first period, the boys continued their strong play and were rewarded with a goal from Nickel assisted by Ethan Plotnik and Pyzowski. Pyzowski scored the second goal with helpers going to Haines and Gibb. Appel secured a 3-0 lead with assists to Nickel and Kuepfer. London quickly replied with 2 goals, narrowing the score 3-2. Haines secured the 4-2 win with a breakaway goal from Gibb and Pyzowski. Goaltender Jesse Merkel played one of his best games of the season, making 23 saves.

The team hopes to continue their winning streak as they head into their final two regular season games this upcoming week-end.
