Warriors Have Two Strong Games This Weekend
The Minor Atom MD Warriors played hard this past weekend facing the Woodstock Navy Vets on Saturday and the Waterloo Wolves on Sunday.  Both games the Warriors played hard.  On Saturday the Warriors defeated the Navy Vets with a score of 3-1.  Rem Hruden started the scoring with an unassisted goal in the first followed by a goal in the second by Finley Newton assisted by Wesley Patterson.  The third period finished with a goal by Nash McIlroy which was assisted by Blake McIntosh to seal the win.  Strong defending was seen from Owen VanGestel and Will McKee.

Sunday’s game saw Stratford ready to take on the strong Waterloo Wolves.  This game Stratford showed the Wolves they weren't going to go down without a fight. Noah Brosens played outstanding defending the numerous shots.  Even with a 3-1 loss, the boys played hard from start to finish! The Warriors had numerous shots.  Finley Newton buried one in the net in the third assisted by Liam Benton and Hunter Hallock.  Alex Robinson and Ethan Priestap battled hard in the offensive zone.
The Warriors meet up next weekend against the St. Catharines Hurricanes on Saturday October 28, 5:15pm at the Rotary Complex Molson Pad.
