Warriors take Round 1
Warriors finish tied for 3rd but draw London Knights White for round 1 playoffs
The Warriors drew the first have powerhouse London Knights White for their first round in playoffs. Coming off a win in London against this same team a few days earlier, the Warriors kept their foot on the gas and chugged through the first game with a 6-2 final. Caleb Hurley opened the scoring with 5 minutes left in the first period from Colton Campbell. However London stormed back less than 2 minutes later to tie it and followed up with the go ahead goal with 1:22 left in the first to take a 2-1 lead into period 2.
The Warriors were far from done as midway through the second Ethan Schmidt scored from Campbell, followed by Hurley unassisted and Saunder Degraauw from a sweet Hurley feed to make it 4-2 at the end of 2.
In the third, the warriors continued to press and Hurley scored a minute and a half in from Luke Hishon to make it 5-2. Schmidt added the 6th unassisted. Mac Munroe got the win in net.
