Novice T1 Warriors Drop Pair Over Weekend
The Stratford Hishon's Custom Embroidery Novice T1 Warriors dropped a pair off games over the weekend with loses to West London and London Oakridge.
At the Rotary Complex Sunday, the Stratford Hishon's Custom Embroidery Novice T1 Warriors played a hard fought game against division leading London Oakridge Aeros but came up short with a 5-3 loss. Zac McCann opened the scoring from a nice feed by defenceman Tate Gaylor. Tyler Hotson scored from McCann and Kayden Schooley also scored from another Gaylor set up. Aly McLeod was aggresive on the forecheck creating many opportunities, while defencemen Bryce Lee and Mitchell LaFay were solid on the blueline. Ryan Bell made several key saves to keep the Warriors in the game.
At London West Saturday, the Warriors were upset 12-2. Schooley and McCann were the goal scorers with the assists to Aly McLeod and Gaylor.
