Atom Squad continue to Battle
The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Atom squad continued to battle through a tough stretch in the competitive AA division. Playing 3 games over 4 days the Warriors dropped all 3 hard fought games.
First up was Waterloo, with Max Britton leading the way with a couple of goals and Haydn Shantz chipping in with a goal and an assist. Stratford had the pressure applied right to the end but could not find the equalizer in the 4-3 loss. Next up was a tough Hamilton squad who were forced to score into an empty net to ensure the victory. Sean Chisholm from Dean Simons made it close but the Warriors still ended up losing 3-1. The final game of the weekend with Kitchener ended with Stratford on the wrong side of a 4-1 score. Dean Jackson from Malcolm Mcleod pulled Stratford close at the end of the second but that was all the offense they could muster. Tyler Parr was strong during his starts and Jared James made the necessary saves to keep his team within striking distance.
