Atoms Drop 2 games this past weekend
The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers AA Atoms dropped two games this past weekend. First up was a road trip to Kitchener, where a poor start was too much to overcome for the Warriors. After spotting the Rangers a 4-goal lead, Stratford made it close on 2 goals from Sean Chisholm. The Warriors outplayed Kitchener in the third but could not find the back of the net again. Kitchener sealed the victory with an empty net goal to make it 5 –2. On Sunday the Warriors entertained the second place Woodstock Navy Vets. Another strong game by goaltender Tyler Parr kept the game close but once again, Stratford could not muster much offense. Riley Higgins and Dean Simons both had good chances but could not solve the Woodstock goaltender. The game ended 2-0 with an empty net goal by Woodstock.
