Warriors Win Third Regular Season Game in a Row
On Monday night (Dec 13), the Stratford Parlour Best Western Peewee MD Warriors faced the London Bandits Black in London. The Warriors came out of the gates extremely strong in the first period outshooting their opponents 11-3 and went up 2-0 with goals by Parker Wamboldt and Nicholas Ruttan assisted by Matthieu Carman and Beckett Mulder. The Bandits started to battle back in the second period outshooting the Warriors 13-5 but with stellar goaltending by Kayden Buck and a timely powerplay goal by call-up, Connor Franke assisted by Parker Wamboldt, the Warriors hung onto a 3-0 lead heading into the third.
After the Bandits scored halfway through the third period, James Drake sealed the win with a goal; assists going to Mack Rankin and Eric Brubacher. Once again, Kayden Buck held the fort to stiffle any offence produced by the Bandits.
