Peewees now in 2nd place after a win and a tie!
The Stratford Parlour Best Western Peewee MD Warriors played two games the week of January 3rd, coming away with a win and a tie.  The Warriors played the London Bandits Orange to a 3-3 tie.  Parker Wamboldt, James Drake and Nick Ruttan provided the scoring and assists went to Kalyb McComb (2), call up Connor Franke (2), and singles going to Leam Hughes and Wamboldt.  Stratford was outshot 20-13 but goalie Xavier Rutherford held strong to help Stratford earn the tie.  MacCauley Ross and Beckett Mulder played strong games on defence and call ups Connor Franke, Noah Patton and Jacob Ford played well.

Stratford then faced the London West Hawks and skated away with a 3-0 win.  Kayden Buck earned the shutout making 13 saves along the way as the game was a chippy affair with over 60 minutes in penalties called against the two teams.  Wamboldt from Evan Roulston, Hughes from Ruttan and Matthieu Carman and Drake scored unassisted to help Stratford earn the win.  With the win and the tie, Stratford is unbeaten in 8 league games and sits in second place in the MD West standings.
