Pletsch shuts the door again.....4-0 over Woodstock
Stratford Warriors Canadian Tire Major Bantams opened their semi-final series with a 4-0 win over Woodstock Friday night. Chris Pletsch was a standout in the Stratford net kicking out all 22 shots to record the shutout. Blake Pickering scored four minutes into the game which proved to be the eventual winner. Drew Goebel and Andrew Bogdon both had a goal each to make it 3-0. With only 4:27 left in the game and with two Stratford players in the box, Pickering scored his second of the night on a break away to make it 4-0. Mark Schmidt, Joe Gioia and Zach Pacheco picked up an assist each. Stratford outshot Woodstock 29-22. The Warriors next game is Sunday at Rotary Complex, game time 5:30 p.m.
