The Scotiabank Major Peewee Rep Warriors posted a 2-0-1 record in recent action as they enter the final weekend of regular season play.
A slow first period was followed by five unanswered goals in the second and third as the Warriors beat the West London Hawks 5-0. Nathan Hall had two goals and two assists and Justin Beuermann had one goal and two assists. Other goal scorers were call-ups Sean Chisholm and Eric Gibb. Clayton Lewis had two assists and Isaiah Duiker and Brody Hunt one each. Goaltender Ryan Lay helped his own cause by earning an assist. At home against the Brantford 99ers, Stratford jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead, but could not hold on and had to settle for a 3-3 tie. Duiker led the way with a goal and an assist. Single markers went to Beuermann and Hunt. Scott Chisholm collected two assists while Jarrett Baker and Michael Cossey had one each. In an exciting and fast-paced game against the London Bandits, Clayton Lewis scored a power-play goal at 7:24 of the third period that turned out to be the game winner in a 3-2 victory. Dalton Smith and Duiker scored and assisted one each. Minkyu Yang, Scott Chisholm and Lewis drew additional assists.
