Atoms Lose Close One to Huskies
The Perth Auto Dismantlers Atom Warriors traveled to Hamilton on Sunday to face off against the Huskies. With two valuable points on the line late in the season, both teams came out ready to play. Chances were exchanged through two periods with Ryan Bell coming up big for the Warriors, making a number of crucial saves to keep his team even. The score remained tied until late in the third when Hamilton capitalized on an odd man rush. Stratford continued to work hard but couldn’t get the puck close to the Hamilton net. The Huskies got one more late in the game to solidify the win. Tenacious play was demonstrated by Alex Cassone, Bryce Lee and Tyler Pogson on defence, while Mason Petrie and Ben Wyatt and Adam Monteith were strong up front.
