The Stratford Royal LePage Hiller Realty Minor PeeWee Warriors extended their league unbeaten streak to sevens games on Sunday skating to a 2-2 tie in Sarnia. In a penalty filled contest the Warriors fell behind 1-0 in the first period but tied the game at one early in the third period on a powerplay goal by Carter Lewis with assists to Everett Hawkins and Connor Otto. Sarnia took the lead with eight minutes left in the third period. Dominic Boon tied the game up two minutes later with Otto picking up the assist. Goalie Spencer Lazarevich stood tall in the net to help keep the Warriors unbeaten streak alive.
On Saturday the Warriors played host to the Burlington Bulldogs and came away with a 3-0 shutout victory. Curtis Eidt netted the hatrick for Stratford in the win with Trent Zorgdrager, Everett Hawkins, Dominic Boon and Connor Otto picking up assists. Netminder Liam McCann picked up the shutout in the win.
