The Stratford Royal LePage Hiller Realty Minor PeeWee Warriors defeated the Oakridge Aeros 5-1 on Saturday night at the Allman Arena. The Warriors opened up the scoring when Dylan Hall drilled a shot into the back of the net with Tyler Lingard assisting. Oakridge tied the game up midway through the second period, but one minute later the Warriors struck for two quick goals in 12 seconds to open the game up. Dominic Boon tipped in a Jared Searles shot with David Shantz also assisting and Dylan Hall with his second of the game roofed the puck unassisted. Shantz scored the fourth Warrior goal in the third period on a wrap around with defencman Charlie Rankin picking up the helper.
Tyler Lingard added an empty net goal when sent in by a pass from Hall. Goaltender Spencer Lazarevich picked up the win in net for the Warriors.
