Culliton Midgets lost 2-1 in OT London Natioals
In the first game of the Major Midget AA playoffs the Startford Culliton Major Midgets lost 2-1 in OT to the 2nd place London Nationals to give them a 2 point lead in the point series. The game was sscorless after one period in the second period both teams exchange goals for 1-1 tie until OT. London scored the winner with 1:13 left in the OT.
This was a very fast paced game and exciting game Stratford hit the goal post with 1.31 left in the game. Nick Sawdon was strong in goal making 34 save. Nick Castell scored the lone Stratford goal with assist going to Josh Bickeel and Matt Knight. Game #2 is Thursday night at 9:30 at the Allman arena.
