Warriors Earn a Point in London
Stratford Royal Lepage Hiller Realty Minor Peewee Warriors opened a six point series on the road with a 2-2 against the London Bandits Saturday afternoon.

Despite outshooting their hosts early in the game, the first period ended scoreless.  After the Bandits opened the scoring, the Warriors responded late in the second frame when Noah Rusen-Steele found a loose puck deep in London zone and found Adam Windsor alone in the slot. Windsor cooly found a gap between the goalie's pads and slipped a T.J. Oshie-like goal through the five hole.

Then with a little more than six minutes to play in the third, Jared Lesouder drew his man down low on the power play and found Mitch LaFay on the half wall who split the seam and picked the short side to give the Warriors a 2-1 lead.  That lead stood up until 1:11 left in the contest when a defensive breakdown lead to the tying goal for the Bandits. Despite having the better of the play in the overtime the game ended with a 2-2 tie.

The line of Raymond Horan, Kaden Eybergen, and Mason Petrie buzzed around on the forecheck while Tyler Pogson and Callum McMann were dominant on defense throughout the game in front of goalie Ryan Bell. The Warriors look forward to a two game home stand in the heart of the series beginning Sunday afternoon.
