Stratford Royal Lepage Hiller Realty Minor Peewee Warriors scored early and often clinching the six point series seven points to three Saturday night with a convincing 8-1 victory over the London Bandits.

Aly McLeod and Kaden Eybergen lead the way with two goals and one assist each while goals were also scored by Mitch LaFay, Jared Lesouder, Mason Petrie, and Adam Windsor.  Assists went to defencemen Josh Dowling, Callum McMann and Tyler Pogson as well as Adam Monteith, Raymond Horan, Lesouder and LaFay.

The Warriors bounced back from a less than stellar game on Wednesday in London to take control of the play from the opening faceoff scoring the first five goals of the game. After the Bandits got on the board mid way into the second frame, goalie Ryan Bell made a key stop on the next shift and the Warriors responded scoring three more goals by the end of the frame.

The third period saw the Warriors dominate play but ended scoreless. Noah Rusen-Steele and Adam Monteith provided spark up front with puck possession and speed on the forecheck while Bryce Lee, Alex Cassone and Cohen Lesouder were dominant in their own zone all game. The Warriors look forward to the opportunity to compete in the second round of the Bristol play downs in the upcoming week.
