Major PeeWees Defeat London Bandits
The Scotiabank Peewee Warriors overcame a deficit to secure a hard fought 4-2 win over the visiting London Bandits on Wednesday night at the Allman arena.

After a scoreless first period, the Bandits struck first mid-way through the second to take a 1-0 lead.   Stratford evened the score when Zach Dow finished off a pretty pass from Brett Maguire late in the period.  Dylan Hall drew the second assist.   Less than a minute later the Warriors struck again when Everett Hawkins finished off a flurry in front of the London net.   Hayden Arms and Charlie Rankin assisted.   The Warriors extended the lead early in the third period with a shorthanded marker when Hall took a pass from Rankin and beat the Bandits goalie low on the blocker side.  Arms also assisted.   London answered shortly thereafter with a marker of their own to get within one but Hall notched his second of the game late in the third period  to secure the win.  Arms, with his third helper of the night, assisted.   Spencer Lazeravich was solid in net for the Warriors.

Next action for  the Scotiabank Peewees is this Saturday when they play host to the Waterloo Wolves at the Allman arena.  Puck drop is 7:15.
