Strong Finish with Three Goals in the Third
Hishons Custom Novice Tier 1 Warriors lost a hard fought-game
to the undefeated London Hawks with a score of 12-3.
It was only 2-0 after the first period as the Warriors defense held off the Hawks strong offense. In particular, Colton Kuepfer was carrying the puck up the ice effectively and Marek Carter was aggressive on the blue line. Jesse Merkel was solid in the net, with some great saves. In the third period, the Warriors worked hard and came back with three goals. Ryan Haines opened the scoring with assists to Owen Gaylor and Gabe Emms. Then Quinn Appel scored a pair of goals, both assisted by Ryan Haines and one assist to Nathan Gibb and Owen Gaylor.
