Excellent First Period
Hishons Custom Novice Tier 1 Warriors worked hard but lost
7-0 to the London West Hawks on Saturday at the Allman.
The Warriors had a strong start, holding the Hawks to a scoreless first period. Defensively, Kaleb Martin and Nathan Gibb were holding the blue line and effectively clearly the defensive zone. Goaltender Josh Duiker made a great save early in the first and a great glove save in the second period. Although the Warriors were unable to put one past the Hawks goalie, Daniel-Rusen-Steele was aggressive in the offensive end and Mark Pyzowski was back-checking well.
