Warriors lose close game to London Bandits
This past weekend seen the Neumeister Motors Ltd. Tier II Novice Warriors play one of two games scheduled. Saturday's game with the West London Hawks was cancelled due to poor weather in London. On Sunday, the team traveled to London to play the London Bandits.
The team carried through a week of good practices into the game but came out on the losing end 6-4. The Bandits jumped out to a 2-0 lead half way through the first period before Dylan Abel made it 2-1 with the assist to Liam Ollson. In the second, Ellis Schnurr scored with the helper going to Logan Hallock and then the two Liams, Ollson from Eddleston, combined to make it 4-3 Bandits heading to the third period. Logan Hallock scored the Warriors only goal of the third period with the assist going to Aaron Jones and Liam Ollson. The Bandits scored an empty netter late in the game to seal the win. Both Brody Cowen and Lachlan Stanley held their own splitting the goaltending duties.
