Minor Midgets drop first game vs Waterloo
The Stratford Motor Product Minor Midgets dropped the first game
of the series with Waterloo Wolves 4 to 2 on Thursday evening in Waterloo. The
Wolves came out quickly and put the Warriors down 2 to 0 early. The Warriors
battled back to keep the game close, but were never able to overcome the early
deficit. An empty net goal for Waterloo sealed the game with under a minute to
go. Warrior goals were score by Josh Smith and Joel DenOtter. Assists going to DenOtter, Smith, Ethan Scrimgeour and Kobe Robinson. The Warriors look
to even the series with Waterloo when they return home to play game 2 Sunday at
6:30 pm at the Allman Arena.
