Minor Midgets advance to semi-finals
The Stratford Motor Product Minor Midgets defeated the Woodstock
Navy Vets 8 to 6 last night winning their series two games to one. The
Warriors offensive outburst was lead by Brady Burdett, Tyson Hall and Eric
VanderEyk, each with two goals, while Joel DenOtter and Josh Smith both were
credited with one apiece. Hall’s four assists lead the way to the win with
Griffin MacDonald’s three assist game following close behind. Trent Zorgdrager,
Kobe Robinson, Ethan Scrimgeour, Joel DenOtter, Josh Smith, and Eric VanderEyk
all had assists. The Navy Vets rallied late, but the Warriors hung on for
victory to move to the semi-finals of the Alliance A playdowns.
