Major Atoms Steal Game #2 in Six Point Series
The Perth Auto Dismantlers Major Atom Rep Warriors won their second game in six point series against Waterloo.

On Saturday morning the Warriors hit the highway to play the Wolves at the Rec complex in Waterloo.  Early pressure on netminder Brenden Sippel with a five on three saw him make some massive saves to hold off the Waterloo attack.  Late in the first Colin Schultz dropped a sweet pass to Lukas Steele who ripped one in giving Stratford a 1-0 lead. But Waterloo answered back quickly to start the second.  Steele and Schultz combined again for another one two punch, this time it was C.Schultz netting one to give the Warriors a 2-1 lead. Again, Waterloo closed the gap tying it up 2-2.  The Warriors closed out the second period with Nathan Siebert netting one, assisted by Aaron Green and fending off a 4 min penalty. Early in the third period Waterloo was looking for the equalizer, but Sippel was not going to allow it making key glove saves!  Mid way through the third C.Schultz danced in, unassisted and gave Stratford a 4-2 lead. Waterloo grabbed one more goal, but an empty netter from Blair Stokes gave Stratford a 5-3 win.
