Weekend Sweep For Bantam Warriors
The Stratford Canadian Tire Major Bantams Warrior swept a pair of Alliance AA/A games this past weekend with a 6-2 home win over the Burlington Bulldogs, and a 3-1 win on the road over the Kitchener Rangers. Stratford improved their record to 3-1 and have won three games in a row.

Saturday at the RBC Arena in Stratford, the Warriors jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in the first 12 minutes of the game, and never looked back, cruising to the 6-2 win. Carter Musselman had a pair of goals, with Keegan Riehl, Will Schlotzhauer, Caleb Musselman and Braydon Tinning picking up individual tallies. Patrick Holloway and Maverick Mulder had a pair of assists, with Owen Fraser, Owen Duiker, Caelan Trupp and Zach Carman each had single assists.

Stratford travelled to Kitchener on Sunday and edged the Rangers 3-1 on two power play goals and an empty netter with eleven seconds remaining by Fraser. Caleb Musselman and Holloway each had a goal and assist, while Trupp had a pair of assists in the win.

Of the eighteen goals Stratford has scored in the young season to date, nine of them have come on the power play. Next action for the Warriors is the Jr. Warrior Weekend Early Bird Tournament in Stratford from Sept. 29 till Oct. 1.
