The Stratford Canadian Tire Major Bantam Jr. Warriors recent
struggles continued, as they lost a pair of games this past weekend in Alliance
A play.
Offence was a problem Saturday, as the Jr. Warrior traveled to St. Thomas, coming out on the wrong end of a 3-1 score. The lone Stratford goal scorer was Will Schlotzhauer, assisted by Caleb Musselman and Curtis Taylor, in a game that did not see many shots on goal for the Jr. Warriors.
Things did not get much better for the Jr. Warriors Sunday at home. Although carrying the advantage in play throughout the game, Stratford could not finish on several point blank scoring opportunities, losing to the London Jr. Mustangs White, 3-2. Taylor and Maverick Mulder were the Stratford goal scorers this time around, with Braydon Tinning and Zach Carman picking up helpers.
