On Sunday Jan 26th the Minor Bantam Warriors hosted the Burlington Jr Cougars (Blue).  The Warriors played hard and outshot the Jr Cougars 45-14 but could only sneak one past the Burlington goaltender.  An empty net goal for Burlington would end the game 3-1 loss for Stratford.  Scoring the lone goal for Stratford was Nater Framst assisted by Kaleb Martin and Mark Pyzowski.

Saturday Feb 1st the Warriors were on the road in a snow storm headed for Sarnia to take on the Sting.  Both teams came screaming out of the gate and battled for shots on net and Stratford would score the first goal.  The battles and scoring would go back and forth throughout the game and many quality shots were made at both ends but the tilt would end in a 7-6 loss for Stratford.  Scoring for Stratford was Mark Pyzowski (2), Brett Knechtel, Jericho McNichol and Dylan Fischer with assists going to Mark Pyzowski (2), Dylan Fischer (2), Nathan Gibb, Owen Gaylor, Beckham McLeod, Quinn Appel and Jericho McNichol.

On Superbowl Sunday Stratford hosted the Kitchener Rangers at the Duff.  A game of inches found the Warriors down 2 goals but Cole Humphrey’s snap shot found Kitchener’s 5-hole to get Stratford within one but the Warriors would fall behind 4-1 until Nater Framst plugged one in to make it a 4-2 game.  In the final minutes Stratford’s goalie was pulled for the extra attacker, Mark Pyzowski drilled one in to bring Stratford within one but time would expire and leave Kitchener with the 4-3 win.  Assists on goals were; Jackson Campbell,  Kaleb Martin, Owen Gaylor, Colten Kuepfer, Jericho McNichol and Beckham McLeod.

Next action for Stratford will be Tuesday Feb 4th when they host GLHA Jr. Mustangs (White).
