Three Road Game Wins!
The Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantam A's have earned three wins in their last four games, played over the last five days. On Thursday, the Warriors beat Kitchener 3 - 1. After a scoreless first period, Brandon Taylor got it going with an unassisted goal. Then in the third, Evan Metelski scored a power play goal from Maverick Petrie. The Rangers got one, but then the deal was sealed with a goal by Greg Hansford, with Taylor assisting.

On Saturday evening, the team travelled to Oakridge. Again, it took to the second period to find the net but then the team rallied to score 4 goals. Petrie scored on the power play from LIam Kelly and Hansford. The red hot power play would account for two more goals, one by Josh Hill and one by Taylor, each of whom had one more on the night. Hansford also found the back of the net in the 6 - 1 win. Kelly, Hansford, Petrie, Hill, Owen McLeod, Nic Strangway, and Randy Wouters all picked up assists.

On Monday, the team was on the road to London again. This time the team faced the Bandits. Evan Metelski lit up the Nichols Arena with a hat trick, including an empty netter. The power play found the mark again, with Hansford scoring on passes from Petrie and Kelly. Petrie also scored a goal in the 5 - 2 win. Assists were recorded by Kelly, Petrie, Hansford, Taylor and Hill.

The only loss out of the four games was at home on Sunday, when the team lost 3 - 1 to Burlington. Our only goal was a power play goal scored by Hansford and assisted by McLeod.

The team has a break now until January 2nd.
