Warriors win semi-final series 3 straight.....
Stratford Warriors Canadian Tire Major Bantams wrapped up their semi-final series Wednesday night with a 5-1 win over Woodstock. Woodstock opened the scoring just 4 minutes into the game and then Stratford scored 5 unanswered goals. Blake Pickering had 2 goals and an assist. Joe Gioia with 2 goals and Zach Pacheco with one. Jacob Kompf and Andrew Bogdon picking up an assist each on Pacheco’s marker. Woodstock outshot Stratford 26-23 but Stratford’s Chris Pletsch stymied them throughout the game. Stratford takes the series 3 games straight and now wait for the winner of the London – Sarnia series.
