The SMHA Holloway Automotive Minor Atoms won the Alliance Bristol "A" Championship with a 4-1 win over London Oakridge Saturday at the Rec Centre. With the win the Warriors closed out the series in five gamesAfter a scoreless first period Colten Cowen opened the scoring for <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Stratford with assists going to Brody Jeffrey and Nathan Graff. Shortly after taking the lead the Warriors were unable to clear a loose puck away from in front of their goal and an Oakridge player calmly deposited it in the <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Stratford goal tying the game at one.
The score remained tied until early in period three when Zach Carman scored the winner after a great burst from centre ice resulted in a breakaway goal. Owen Duiker and Zach Freeland assisted on the goal. Jeffrey and Caleb Musselman added the insurance markers for the Warriors later in the third period to clinch the victory. Cowen added two assists while Jack Whitehead and Danny Scott had one each.
After suffering four tough losses at the Silver Stick Qualifier tournament in December the Warriors closed out the season with 22 wins in 25 games, winning the regular season title as well.
