Atoms Pounded By London Green
The Stratford Atoms were certainly unwelcome guests in London last night as they were pounded 8-1 by the host London Junior Knights Green. The Warriors were able to skate with the Knights for one period as they entered the second tied 1-1. Adam Monteith scored Stratford’s only goal, assisted by Mitchell LaFay and Tyler Pogson. Despite the lopsided score, Stratford’s goalie Carson Knott made some great saves throughout the contest. Ben Wyatt and Aly McLeod had strong efforts up front, while Bryce Lee and Riley Mathieson played hard on defence.
