Warriors Too Much for Huskies
The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Atoms rebounded from a tough loss last week with a hard fought 4-2 victory over Hamilton on Sunday. Prior to this game, the teams had split the season series one game each, with a single point separating them in the standings.

Adam Monteith got the Warriors on the board in the first off of a feed from Mitch LaFay. Stratford was able to take advantage of a power play in the second when Jared LeSouder tipped home a shot from LaFay set up by Noah Rusen-Steele. The teams entered the third knotted at twos and exchanged chances for most of the period. Finally, late in the frame, Aly McLeod was rewarded for her hard work as she ripped a wrist shot high over the goalie’s glove assisted by Adam Windsor. A solid defensive effort, with good puck possession in the final seconds, lead to Cohen LeSouder springing Jared LeSouder who made no mistake depositing the puck into the empty net ensuring the victory. Tyler Pogson and Alex Cassone had solid games on the blueline with goalie Ryan Bell standing tall between the pipes.
