The Perth Auto Dismantlers Major atoms fought hard for a 3-0 shut out victory on home ice Thursday evening.

The Warriors got off to a flying start when Mitch LaFay won the opening face off and drove around the defence to fire the first shot of the game home, handcuffing the butterflying Cambridge goalie.  The teams battled back and forth for the remainder of the first two periods trading chances without any scoring despite multiple Stratford penalties.  Determined penalty killing was demonstrated by Callan Ferguson, Riley Mathieson and Tyler Pogson on defence as well as the tandem of Kaden Eybergen and Aly McLeod up front.

Then while killing their fifth penalty of the game, Noah Rusen-Steel won the puck in their zone and fed a streaking Jared Lesouder who busted in on goal, deaked the Hawks goalie and slipped a beautiful goal home.  The Warriors put the icing on the cake when all five men touched the puck for the third goal; Alex Cassone won a key battle to keep the puck onside knocking it over to his partner Bryce Lee who pumped it deep to Mitch LaFay who then beat his man down low and fed it behind the net to Mason Petrie. Petrie found Adam Monteith out front who promptly buried the insurance goal with a high laser over the Hawks goalie.

Warriors goalie Carson Knott was outstanding all night keeping his team in the lead and his team responded by battling extra hard to ensure he got the much deserved shut out.
