Atoms Lose to Nationals
The Perth Auto Dismantlers major atoms fell 6-1 to the North London Nationals Thursday evening.

The Warriors came out hard and were rewarded with the opening goal of the game when Mason Petrie fired one home from the slot, taking a feed from Mitch LaFay from the corner after Tyler Pogson won the puck and pushed it deep from the point.  The Warriors followed it up with another goal minutes later but it was disallowed because it was directed into the net with a skate.  With a drop in momentum, the Nationals tied the game by the end of the first period.  The second frame saw London score five unanswered goals; four of them on the powerplay.  Stratford continued to work hard in the third missing several good scoring chances but were unable to dig their way out of the hole the penalties had caused. Carson Knott stood tall in net while Ben Wyatt played a strong game on the boards and on the forecheck all night.
