GAME REPORT December 14 and 15, 2012
The Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantam Warriors started to regain their footing as they won a pair of games on the weekend defeating Waterloo Wolves 2-0 and Cambridge Hawks 6-3 in recent Alliance action.

After a scoreless first period during a late Friday night visit to the Loo, Bradley Kraemer took a nice Jarrett Baker pass and opened the scoring on the powerplay with a nice wrist shot. Clayton Lewis also drew an assist on the play.  Scott Chisholm then scored a second powerplay maker on a nice shot from the side of the net to push the lead to 2-0 and that was it for the game scoring. The Warrior defence played a nice tight game and goaltender Jacob Ford stopped everything that came his way in earning the shutout.
On Saturday Stratford jumped out to an early lead as Nathan Hall opened the scoring from the slot. Dillon Weinheimer drew the assist. Joe Yundt made it a two goal lead as he converted a nice passing play with Justin Beuermann and Ewen Flanagan assisting. Yundt made it 3-0 early in the second on a nice individual rush with Beuermann again assisting. Never one for making it easy on themselves, the Warriors allowed Cambridge back into the game with two quick goals and the teams entered the third with Stratford leading 3-2. Clayton Lewis then scored two quick goals with Dalton Smith assisting on both and Baker and Evan Moorehead also earning assists and the game was essentially over. Tyreese Harrison scored into an empty net and the warriors had a 4 point weekend. Baily Paquette was solid between the pipes.
