The Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantam Warriors won a pair of games against the West London Hawks in recent Alliance action.
In an extremely physical first game against the West London Hawks the Warriors held tough and defeated the Hawks 8-5. Dalton Smith and Clayton Lewis each had two goals and one assist, Dillon Weinheimer had a goal and two assists while Joe Yundt and Bradley Kraemer each had one goal and one assist. Scott Chisholm added a single goal. Jarrett Baker had three assists while Evan Moorehead, Ewen Flanagan and Michael Cossey each added one assist.
The Warriors followed that up with a 3-1 victory against the Hawks. Yundt scored twice with Smith getting a single. Weinheimer, Baker, Moorehead, Kraemer and Cossey all earned assists. Baily Paquette was strong in goal for the Warriors.
The Warriors now prepare to host the annual Silver Stick Tournament to be held in Stratford starting on Friday December 27th. Playing against some very strong teams, every game and every shift is expected to be critical. In order to advance the Warriors will need to forgot about Christmas turkey and focus on winning.
