The Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantam Warriors went 1-2 at the Stratford Silver Stick Regional on the weekend.
Stratford got off to a poor start losing 4-0 to the Burlington Eagles before playing much better hockey in a 2-1 loss to the Barrie Colts and a 3-2 victory over the Guelph Storm.
Jarrett Baker got the lone Stratford goal in the 2-1 loss to Barrie with Dillon Weinheimer and Clayton Lewis drawing the assists. Baily Paquette was strong in goal for the Warriors.
In the win over Guelph, Lewis had two goals and Dalton Smith added one goal and an assist. Nathan Hall, Evan Moorehead and Bradley Kraemer each had one assist. Jacob Ford was outstanding in goal for Stratford.
