Minor Bantams face North London and come away with a loss..
Stratford’s SCI Contractors Minor Bantam’s suffered a 5-2 loss Tuesday night at the hands of the North London Nationals. The Nationals got out in front with two quick goals in the first three minutes of the game. The Warriors battled back and evened the game 2-2 by the end of that first period. Connor Franke scored on passes from Mark Van Dam and Owen Brooks. Chris Phillips scored Stratford’s second goal with assists going to Carson Dunseith and Garrett Wells. Both goals were scored in the final 90 seconds of the period. The remainder of the game was a back and forth battle between both teams but the Warriors fell victim to some questionable calls and the Nationals capitalized and scored three quick unanswered goals for the final score of 5-2.
