November 20 and 21 Game Resport
Minor Bantams earn two wins this week..

Stratford’s SCI Contractors Minor Bantam MD’s served up the North London Nationals their first loss of the season on Tuesday night in Stratford.  The Nationals opened the scoring in the first but Stratford’s Peter Williams tied it up before the end of the period on a pass from Mark Van Dam.  The two teams battled back and forth and Megan Jesse came up with many great saves in goal to keep the team in the game.  The Warriors scored two more times in the third.  Christopher Phillips had a nice open net goal on passes from Chase Windsor and Carson Dunseith and Peter Williams got his second of the night with assists going to Jacob Ney and Jack Ratz.  London had one more goal to make the final score 3-2.

The Minor Bantam MD’s travelled to Oakridge on Wednesday night to play the Oakridge Aeros and came away with their second win in as many nights.  The Warriors came out strong in the first period.  Steven Tuer skated through the Oakridge team to score the first goal with assists going to Owen Brooks and Cole McKay.  Nathan Ferguson put in a great effort to score the second goal unassisted.   Owen Brooks worked hard to keep the puck in the Oakridge end while short-handed and Cole McKay was able to capitalize with the teams’ third goal.   The score remained 3-0 till the third period when Carson Dunseith found the back of the net on a pass from Chase Windsor.  Jeremy Wickenheiser played a fantastic game and earned the shut out on the 4-0 final score.  Defensive team played a strong game and helped keep the Oakridge team at bay.
