The Minor Bantam MD's have mixed results at Burlington tournament
Stratford’s SCI Contractors Minor Bantam MD’s traveled to Burlington this week-end to participate in the Burlington Bulldogs MD Challenge Cup Tournament. The Warriors started the tournament strong and beat the West London Hawks soundly with a 5-0 score. Jeremy Wickenheiser put in another strong performance between the pipes to earn the shut out. Carson Dunseith led the scoring with two goals and two assists. Chris Phillips had one goal and two assists and Chase Windsor had one goal and one assist. Cole McKay added another goal and Owen Brooks and Nathan Ferguson each earned assists as well. The next day saw the Warriors on the losing side of a 5-0 score against the Hamilton Phantoms in a penalty ridden game. The Warriors put in a strong performance against the Burlington Bulldogs but came up short, losing 4-1, in a very fast paced end to end game. Chris Phillips got the Warriors only goal unassisted.
